Changing firearms laws in Georgia present a unique set of considerations for building owners and property managers. After the ‘Georgia Safe Carry Protection Act was passed in 2014, Georgia citizens are now allowed to carry firearms in public spaces. This includes offices, retail spaces and other commercial zones. The BOMA Georgia Foundation understood that this shift in laws may leave property managers facing a lot of questions. The white paper on firearms in Georgia is meant to answer those questions.
