The spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) across the globe has captured the attention of governments, health organizations, and every-day citizens. To assist commercial real estate professionals in their preparation and response to this issue, the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Georgia Foundation has compiled a list of resources for commercial real estate professionals to consider in maintaining a healthy building environment. The resources relate specifically to COVID-19 and infectious disease control in general.

“At every level, BOMA has been a leader in helping real estate professionals maintain healthy buildings. From BOMA International’s leadership on creating a Coronavirus preparedness checklist, to BOMA Canada’s release of a pandemic preparedness guide, and the educational resources provided by BOMA associations throughout the United States and internationally, the real estate industry and general public is being well served by BOMA,” says Gabriel Eckert, FASAE, CAE, BOMA Georgia Foundation Chief Executive Officer. “The BOMA Georgia Foundation has also curated a list resources to further help real estate professionals prepare for and respond to infectious diseases, including COVID-19.”

The one-page document produced by the BOMA Georgia Foundation is available for free download. As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve quickly, the foundation also encourages real estate professionals to check the latest information from authoritative health-related sources regularly.
